Our Samson G6 basic glass roof system is only available as a canopy protection. It is not modular like our other systems with the additional components for the sides and front, but it can have a cloth blind added for sun protection. Contrary to some less expensive systems on the market with external UPVC guttering and external downpipes, it does include integrated rainwater guttering. For the neatest external look, all of our systems incorporate integral guttering. To give the support legs a new appearance, they can also be cantilevered. For a more classic appearance, Victorian-style aluminium castings can also be incorporated.
We also provide the Samson G8, a glass veranda system that can stand alone without being linked to a wall or other structure and has a greater maximum projection than the G6. This makes it suitable for a wide range of additional applications, particularly commercial ones. By connecting the systems, you may virtually cover any space with a variety of roof designs, including the Apex, Mono-pitch, and Arched.
In order to help create the ideal outdoor weather protected space, our new design features square aluminium profile sections that have a contemporary feel. It can also include lighting, sliding or folding glass doors, other fixed or louvred aluminium infills, as well as a surface- or under-glass mounted fabric blind for sun shading.

My wife and I love the outdoors but with the busy work life we have it means we do not always get the time to be out and about. At our previous house we had a conservatory and whilst it was useful it was not wanted to have again. What we really wanted was a garden room.
We found The Glass Room Company who seemed to have a great alternative to a conservatory. I was amazed that we were able to go and see a full sized room installed at the home of John who worked for the company. It was great to be able have John show us all the great features of the glass room and not just look at a brochure and pictures. Once we had seen the glass room in all its glory we were sold on it being the right solution for us. What’s more we did not have to get any other trades involved as they were able to install the Millboard flooring, heating and shading as well.
After meeting with Mr & Mrs Stewart on a couple of occasions we were able to design a full glass room that would not only be practical in use but also fit within the surrounding. All aspects of the install including ground works were completed by us on one visit minimising the disruption to our client.
On the left side of the room there was a brick wall very close. We installed fixed glazing on this side with frosted glass in order to minimise the visibility of the wall whilst still allowing natural light in.
We are also suppliers of a UK manufactured composite decking product called Millboard. The decking was installed both inside and outside the room with matching fascia boards and bullnose edging.
Finally, to really make it an all year round space we installed a under-mounted roof shade with integrated LED lighting and two remote controlled dimmable heaters that are all powder coated to match the finish of the room.
Martyn, from 'The Outdoor living group' has been fantastic in providing us with the most wonderful veranda with a glass roof and sunshade. It arrived as arranged on 17th March 2020. We were fortunate as this was just before 'lockdown' and we have used it everyday since then to eat outside in this wonderful weather.
